With more than 25 years experience working on significant brand projects at Trout and other multinational ad agencies, Gavin knows a thing or two about creating great work – whether its advertising, design, motion, digital or integrated communications.
When it comes to finding good ideas, Gavin has a simple philosophy. Look at things from every angle and never assume the first idea is the right one. It’s rarely your best.
Early in his career, Gavin worked as a professional illustrator, which helps to explain his uncanny ability for translating complex concepts in simple, compelling stories that move people. This is best seen in his ongoing passion for all things motion, working closely with his team to create engaging video and animated pieces that both entertain and inform.
A retired mixed netball premiership captain, Gavin now prefers to spend his spare time cooking up a storm on the barby or kicking the footy with his kids.
